Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service throughout their visit. Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using Cake POS systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service role is preferred. Familiarity with Cake POSsystems is a plus. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards. Culinary experience or fine dining experience is highly desirable. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the restaurant schedule.
