Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations using Resos reservation system. Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as MenuSifu POS for processing transactions efficiently. Serve food and drinks with professionalism, including cocktail service, wine pouring, spirits handling, and beverage presentation. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience while increasing sales revenue. Clear tables promptly, bus tables efficiently, and maintain cleanliness in dining areas according to sanitation standards. Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks when needed to support kitchen staff. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit. Skills Proven experience in food service roles such as server, host/hostess, busser, or bartender within a restaurant or nightlife setting. Strong knowledge of POS systems. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while processing sales efficiently. Knowledge of wine types, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage service techniques. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods without compromising service quality. Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is advantageous; a background in hospitality or the food industry is preferred. Basic math skills for order calculations and transaction processing; strong guest relations skills are essential for creating welcoming atmospheres.
