Duties Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient service Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining genuine guest engagement Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering and processing payments accurately Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage guest seating efficiently and optimize table turnover Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse needs gracefully Familiarity with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations within the food industry Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining quality service Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation, cash handling, and inventory management Experience with host/hostess duties or serving roles that require hospitality excellence and guest engagement Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels memorable dining moments!
