Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Manage tables efficiently by bussing, resetting, and maintaining cleanliness to uphold sanitation standards Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and timely service Utilize reservation systems like OpenTable to manage guest bookings and seating arrangements Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub backgrounds Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently Culinary experience or food industry knowledge that enhances guest interactions Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to perform basic math for billing, cash handling, and inventory purposes Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and food handling procedures Previous host/hostess or serving experience is advantageous but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential Join us and be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality!
