Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process sales transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols. Upsell menu items by highlighting specials and pairing suggestions to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Handle cash transactions responsibly, process payments smoothly, and give accurate change using POS systems like OpenTable or other restaurant software. Support food service operations by bussing tables, assisting with food handling and preparation when needed, ensuring a seamless guest experience from start to finish. Experience Previous experience working in food service or hospitality environments, particularly in bars or restaurants with fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail mixing techniques, and food industry standards. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales processing. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality customer service. Experience with food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on creating welcoming atmospheres through attentive service and clear communication. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities confidently.
