Join the team at Champney's Restaurant & Tavern , located inside the historic Deerfield Inn in Old Deerfield! We are looking for friendly, reliable, and team-oriented Hosts/Hostesses and Food Runners to help create great dining experiences for our guests. Whether you are welcoming guests at the front door or ensuring their meals arrive perfectly, your hospitality makes all the difference. Key Responsibilities Host /

Hostess:

Guest Welcome:

Greet guests warmly, manage seating charts, and organize reservations.

Communication:

Answer phone calls, assist with general guest inquiries, and coordinate directly with servers to ensure smooth dining room service.

Presentation:

Keep the entry and host stand areas neat, organized, and welcoming.

Food Runner:

Food Delivery:

Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately to guest tables.

Quality Check:

Ensure excellent food presentation and order accuracy before delivering plates.

Server Support:

Assist servers with clearing and resetting tables efficiently.

Station Upkeep:

Maintain clean, organized side stations and service areas.

Qualifications Experience:

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but we are happy to train the right person!

Skills:

Strong communication, active teamwork skills, and a reliable work ethic.

Attributes:

Friendly, professional, and composed under pressure.

Availability:

Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
