Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Server and become a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will engage with Guests, take and serve orders, and ensure every visitor leaves satisfied and eager to return. Your enthusiasm, hospitality skills, and attention to detail will help create a lively atmosphere where guests feel welcomed and valued. Whether working in a bustling restaurant or an upscale fine dining setting, your positive attitude will shine through as you provide top-tier customer service, manage food and beverage orders efficiently, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a vibrant environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements or reservations using systems like OpenTable or similar reservation software Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions swiftly Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards, ensuring guest satisfaction at every step Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cashiering duties with precision and integrity Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety guidelines Assist with food preparation or kitchen support when needed, demonstrating versatility in food handling and service roles Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, addressing inquiries or concerns professionally Support team members during busy hours by managing time efficiently and prioritizing tasks effectively Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately and confidently Familiarity with food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Previous experience with reservation systems like OpenTable is a plus Culinary experience or background in food preparation is advantageous but not required Effective time management skills to juggle multiple tables or tasks seamlessly Basic math skills for billing accuracy and transaction processing Knowledge of upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and sales performance Hospitality or serving experience in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for hospitality makes every guest feel special!
