Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness of service areas Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to manage guest seating and waitlists effectively Demonstrate knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktail preparation to educate guests and recommend pairings Support guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving any concerns professionally Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy shifts Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is highly desirable Experience with beverage service including cocktails, wine knowledge, and spirits is a plus Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences!
