system ensuring clear communication of special requests and dietary needs Serve food and beverages promptly with professionalism and a friendly attitude, maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation Upsell menu items by highlighting specials and recommended dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Manage tables efficiently by bussing, cleaning, and resetting to ensure a smooth flow of service during busy hours Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems while maintaining proper cash handling procedures Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including fine dining options, to answer guest questions confidently and provide excellent customer service Qualifications Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong food handling knowledge along with understanding of sanitation standards and food safety protocols Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Proven time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours Experience with OpenTable reservations system or similar platforms is a plus Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and check splitting accurately Previous host/hostess or serving experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key Join us to be part of a vibrant team that celebrates great food, exceptional service, and memorable guest experiences!
