Takeout Coordinator Job Summary:

We are looking an organized individual to join our team as an Expeditor. We are looking an organized individual to join our team as an Expeditor. This role is a bridge between the kitchen, dining room, and takeout guests. You will ensure that every order whether it is eaten in the dining room or delivered by DoorDash is accurate, hot, and packaged correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

Takeout Management:

Answer phone calls to take carryout orders and manage the takeout station.

Third-Party Delivery:

Manage incoming orders on the DoorDash tablet, including accepting orders, packing food, and ensuring orders are handed to the correct drivers.

Expediting:

Assist servers by running food from the kitchen to tables and ensuring orders are complete before they leave the kitchen.

Support:

Occasionally assist with bussing tables and resetting the dining room during peak hours.

Qualifications:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills (phone and in-person). Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs. Team Player Prior restaurant experience a plus How to
