Job Description
Overview As a key leader on the floor, you will oversee service operations, mentor team members, and ensure that every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. Looking to hire two members that have availability weekdays and weekends, room for flexibility. Responsibilities Lead the serving team by providing clear direction, support, and motivation to ensure seamless service delivery. Oversee food and beverage service, ensuring accuracy in orders, timely delivery, and adherence to quality standards. Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a memorable dining experience for all guests. Assist with training new staff on POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, emphasizing proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures. Upsell menu items including wine, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance sales performance. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS and OpenTable; handle cash handling responsibilities with integrity. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations; support food preparation and bussing as needed. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies; coordinate with kitchen staff on food preparation and service flow. Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining or upscale casual settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and sales processing. Extensive beverage knowledge including spirits, wine, cocktail creation, and drink service techniques. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently. Culinary experience or food industry background preferred; familiarity with food safety standards essential. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring team members. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately; attention to detail is critical for cash handling and inventory management.
