You'll be the face of our restaurant and responsible to provide proper service to improve our guests' experiences. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a genuine love for hospitality. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we'd like to meet you. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract guests. Sea Level is two floors with a spectacular view of the Salem Harbor where we offer waterfront dining. 2 years of serving experience is required for this position. Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience preferred Responsibilities Greet guests : Welcome diners and share daily specials Take orders : Taking food and beverage orders and accurately entering them into our
Toast POS System Allergies:
Communicating any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff
Menu Knowledge:
Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products Check satisfaction: Ask guests if they need anything else during the meal to ensure that everything is up to our standards Process payments: Handle cash, cards, and receipts at the end.
Clean areas:
Performing some cleaning duties, such as at the service station, around the kitchen and in the dining area
Teamwork:
Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
Attentiveness:
Providing attentive service to diners, like refilling drinks as needed and checking their needs during meals
Customer Service:
Promptly addressing any customer service issues with a positive attitude and referring to management if and when necessary Skills
TOAST POS
