Job Description

Job Purpose:
The Server Assistant plays an essential supporting role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Working hand in hand with the Server, culinary, and bar teams, this position ensures that service flows seamlessly—from preparing tables and running plates to maintaining the rhythm of the dining room. The Server Assistant contributes to the guest experience through attentiveness, efficiency, and teamwork, helping to create the gracious, polished service environment that defines our hospitality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support Servers and Bartenders by running food and beverages, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to guests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and side work areas throughout the shift. Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently, maintaining a neat and inviting appearance at all times. Assist with stocking and replenishing supplies including glassware, silverware, and service items. Monitor guest needs—refilling water, assisting with additional requests, and communicating with the Server to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate closely with kitchen and service teams to support smooth and efficient operations during service periods. Handle guest items, trays, and plates with care and attention to presentation and safety. Adhere to all sanitation, safety, and cleanliness standards set by the property and local health codes. Perform all opening, closing, and side duties as assigned by management. Perform any and all other duties as requested by management in support of restaurant and hotel operations.
Education & Experience:
Previous experience in a restaurant support role or hospitality environment preferred, but not required. Ability to remain organized and focused in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Dependable and eager to learn all aspects of front-of-house service.

Diligent, dependable, and service-oriented. Calm under pressure and focused on details. Energetic team player with a positive, can-do attitude. Able to keep pace with high-volume service demands. Curious and eager to grow within the hospitality field.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments, including dining rooms, patios, and event spaces. Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks as required by daily operations. Ability to maintain composure and energy during long shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as business levels demand.
