Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Restaurant Server, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create memorable dining experiences for our guests. We are looking for someone with previous expierence, but are willing to train the right candidate. We are looking for someone with a friendly face that guides guests through their meal journey, ensuring exceptional service from start to finish. This is a part time position working 2-to 4 shifts per week(11 hour shifts). Your culinary knowledge, beverage expertise, and ability to manage multiple tables with efficiency will contribute to a lively and welcoming atmosphere. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment that values teamwork and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions. Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety. Manage guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, and feedback with professionalism and a positive attitude. Clear tables efficiently by bussing and resetting for new guests while maintaining cleanliness standards in compliance with sanitation guidelines. Process cash and card payments accurately, including handling cash transactions with basic math skills and balancing registers at shift end. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, ideally in a high-volume setting. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order entry and sales processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and handle diverse needs gracefully. Beverage expertise including cocktail preparation, spirits knowledge, wine pairing suggestions, and drink service techniques. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively. Basic math proficiency for cash handling, processing transactions, and calculating bills accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus for managing guest seating efficiently.
