Job Description
Broadway Hotpot & Bar is an all-you-can-eat Chinese hot pot restaurant in Fells Point. We are hiring a friendly, dependable full-time Restaurant Server who understands hot pot and Chinese cuisine, or can learn them quickly. Our servers help guests—especially first-time hot pot customers—understand the menu, order confidently, and enjoy the full hot pot experience. Responsibilities Explain soup bases, ingredients, sauces, cooking times, and all-you-can-eat rules Take food and beverage orders and provide attentive table service Refill dishes, clear and reset tables, and keep the sauce station stocked and clean Assist with bar drinks and bubble tea when needed Coordinate with food runners, bussers, and the kitchen Qualifications Familiarity with hot pot or Chinese cuisine is strongly preferred Restaurant serving experience is preferred Friendly and comfortable communicating with guests in English Dependable, punctual, and able to work efficiently during busy service Weekday availability is preferred Compensation and Benefits Starting cash wage: $3.80 per hour, plus tips Base pay may increase based on performance and menu knowledge Servers contribute 20% of tips to a tip pool shared with eligible food runners, bussers, and server assistants who directly support guest service If cash wages plus tips do not reach the applicable minimum wage for a workweek, the restaurant pays the difference Flexible scheduling Apply through Indeed, visit Broadway Hotpot & Bar in person at 709 S Broadway, Baltimore, MD 21231, or email a brief introduction and your availability to broadwayhotpot@gmail.com.
