As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for food and hospitality, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Dining Services Manager Job Overview:
Work very closely with our membership and their guests to make memorable dining experiences at Rolling Road Golf Club. Education and/or
Experience:
Qualified Servers will have at least 1 year experience in a dining environment, county club experience is a distinct plus.
High School Diploma or GED Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, as well as strong memorization skills.
  • Servers should also have a working knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine.
  • Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude.
  • Write patrons' food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly manner.
  • Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions.
  • Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
  • Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes.
  • Help food preparation staff when necessary.
  • Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and other staff.
  • Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
  • Able to operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner.
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs or more.
  • Willing to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Availability to work evenings and on weekends, including holidays.
