Position Summary:
The Country Club of Maryland is seeking enthusiastic and hospitality focused Servers to join our Food & Beverage team. As a Server, you will provide high-quality service to our members and guests in our dining rooms, patio, and banquet facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional hospitality and uphold the high standards of the club.
Responsibilities:
Greet and serve members and guests promptly and courteously Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to kitchen/bar Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring correct orders Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and dining rooms Collaborate with team members and support other service staff Uphold all club policies and Maryland Health Department standards Assist with private events, banquets, and club functions as needed Provide a positive and attentive member experience at all times
Qualifications:
Previous serving experience in a private club, fine dining, or upscale restaurant preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Flexible availability including weekends and holidays Must be at least 18 years of age Maryland alcohol certification (TIPS or equivalent) preferred Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Work Environment:
Upscale, member-focused country club. Collaborative and professional hospitality team. Includes a la carte dining, private events, and golf-related functions. Indoor and seasonal outdoor dining spaces.
