Job Description We are seeking a friendly, customer service focused Restaurant/banquets Server to join our team at Bethel Resort and Suites. This is a Full Time position located in Bethel, ME. In this position you must be detail oriented, able to work on your own and in a team, and must have good communication skills. Work Performed As a Restaurant/banquets Server, you'll wow our guests with outstanding service and hospitality. Whether guests are celebrating a special occasion or just spending time with family and friends, our servers go the extra mile to make it memorable. You'll help with menu selections, quickly refill beverages and ensure food arrives on time, always delivering warm and friendly service. Take food/drink orders Make food and drink recommendations to guests and answer all menu
- and service-related questions Greet guests and deliver a memorable experience for all Clear, clean and sanitize tables Complete side-work throughout the shift, before and after Help guests with any special requests/allergy information Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order Perform any other job-related duties as assigned Requirements 2 or more full years employment experience in a related position Skill and coordination when using hands to write, pour, and carry several drinks, plates, and bowls at the same time Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced work environment while on your feet for 4-8 hours Excellent organizational skills and show initiative with ability to work well in a team environment Possess good communication skills Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs Ability to maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays Have proficiency in the English language Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
