Job Description

Summary During weekends responsible for providing security and safety oversight for Gould personnel, facilities, and mechanical equipment. This role ensures the safety of the campus environment through regular inspections, emergency response, and collaboration with key departments. Innovation and Results Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to successfully perform the following essential duties and other duties as may be assigned. Provide routine safety checks of building interior and exterior as scheduled Provide routine safety checks of boiler rooms and mechanical equipment Document and report all safety and security issues to the Director of Buildings and Grounds Immediately report any emergencies to AOD, Director of Buildings and Grounds, Police and Fire where applicable Assist in the clearing of snow to maintain safe entrances, exits, and walkways during the winter Must be able to work alone while achieving goals as set by supervisor Successfully use the timekeeping system; punching in and out for work hours

Qualification Requirements:
Security or Law Enforcement experience is preferred Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English A current Maine driver's license is required A background check is required and must be successfully completed before employment can be offered or started

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
