Job Description We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team at Harraseeket Inn & event House. This is a part time position located in Freeport, Maine. This role requires individuals who are detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to upholding our high standards of guest satisfaction, cleanliness, and service. Job Description We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team at Harraseeket Inn & event House. This is a part time position located in Freeport, Maine. This role requires individuals who are detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to upholding our high standards of guest satisfaction, cleanliness, and service. Work Performed The Banquet Server is responsible for serving food and drinks to guests at events at our onsite venue. Set up/Prepare the banquet/meeting rooms based on event requirements Take food and drink orders Make food and drink recommendations to guests and answer all menu
- and service-related questions Greet guests and deliver a memorable experience for all Clear, clean and sanitize tables Complete side-work throughout the shift, before and after Take out trash and recycling as needed Reset banquet/meeting rooms Help guests with any special requests/allergy information Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order Perform any other job-related duties as assigned Requirements 1 or more full years employment experience in a related position Skill and coordination when using hands to write, pour, and carry several drinks, plates, and bowls at the same time Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced work environment while on your feet for 4-8 hours Excellent organizational skills and show initiative with ability to work well in a team environment Possess good communication skills Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs Ability to maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays Have proficiency in the English language Must be able to work onsite at the location Hours required: Part Time 20-30 hours per week for shifts Morning (AM); Afternoon (PM); Evening; Must be flexible; Weekends/ Holidays Additional Preferred Skills/Qualities Second language is a plus, preferably Spanish or French Compensation $9 Hourly + Gratuity Benefits Optional 401k with employer match Employee discounts at participating hotels Option to sign up for on-demand pay with DailyPay Refer a friend•get paid extra when they join our team!
