Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Catering Service Worker to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service at various events and venues, ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive and professional interactions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, with experience in catering, banquet service, and fine dining environments. Your expertise will contribute to creating memorable experiences for our guests while maintaining high standards of food safety, presentation, and hospitality. Duties Set up catering events by arranging tables, linens, utensils, and serving stations according to event specifications Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously to guests in a variety of settings, including banquets, receptions, and private functions Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met Handle food handling responsibilities with adherence to safety and sanitation regulations Buss tables promptly during and after events to maintain cleanliness and readiness for subsequent service Operate POS systems for order processing, billing, and payment transactions accurately Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, managing guest relations, and ensuring a positive dining experience Support beverage service including wine knowledge, drink service, and bartending as needed Maintain knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure smooth operations from setup to breakdown Skills Extensive experience in the food industry with a focus on catering or banquet services Strong culinary knowledge with an understanding of food preparation and presentation techniques Proven guest services skills with the ability to build positive guest relations Experience in fine dining environments or hotel settings is highly desirable Knowledge of beverage service including wine appreciation and bartending skills Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for order accuracy and cash handling procedures Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and payment management Excellent communication skills combined with a professional demeanor Commitment to food safety standards and proper food handling practices Previous experience working with diverse customer groups in hospitality or restaurant settings TJB01
