Overview Join our dynamic team as a Lunch/Dinner Wait Staff and become a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! Your energy, hospitality skills, and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued from the moment they arrive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your food service expertise in a vibrant, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise transaction processing Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items like wines, spirits, or desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments via POS systems, and give correct change or receipts Maintain cleanliness of tables, assist with bussing, and ensure sanitation standards are upheld throughout service Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to deliver seamless guest experiences in both lunch and dinner settings Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in fine dining environments or high-volume settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and food safety practices enhances your ability to serve confidently Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence Ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail Experience with food handling, sanitation standards, and basic math for cash handling ensures smooth operations OpenTable or reservation system experience is a plus for managing guest seating efficiently Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding service in a lively atmosphere!
