We serve sushi and a variety of Asian-inspired dishes in a casual, fast-paced environment. Our servers are a big part of the customer experience that helps to create the friendly, welcoming atmosphere we want every guest to have. During busy shifts, staying organized and keeping service running smoothly requires someone who is personable, dependable, attentive, and able to juggle multiple tables and tasks. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we would like to meet you! Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers. At this time, we are specifically looking for candidates with weekday availability (Monday through Thursday), though, occasional weekend availability would be welcome in addition to this! Responsibilities Attend to customers upon entrance Present restaurant menus and help customers select food Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products Take and serve dine-in orders Take and prepare to-go orders Check in with dine-in customers throughout their meal and respond to additional needs Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly throughout the shift Help maintain the dining room and other front-of-house areas as needed Handle complaints or problems with a positive attitude Issue bills and accept payment Skills Attention to cleanliness and safety Patience and customer-oriented approach Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude Responsible and trustworthy
