We are looking for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, thrive in fast-paced environments, and take pride in creating memorable guest experiences. At The Stubborn Brother, serving is more than taking orders. Our servers are brand ambassadors who represent our culture, quality, and hospitality standards every day. Salesmanship, menu knowledge, and guest engagement are essential parts of this role. Essential Responsibilities Guest Experience & Hospitality Welcome guests with a friendly, confident, and professional attitude. Create memorable dining experiences through genuine hospitality and guest engagement. Follow the 10-foot / 4-foot rule : Smile and acknowledge guests within 10 feet. Verbally greet guests within 4 feet. Be a positive representative and brand ambassador for The Stubborn Brother Pizza Bar. Build rapport with guests and create an inviting atmosphere. Salesmanship & Menu Knowledge Salesmanship is a must. Servers are expected to actively guide the guest experience and increase guest satisfaction through suggestive selling.

Responsibilities include:

Suggestively selling beverages, appetizers, desserts, and featured items by name. Recommending food and beverage pairings. Learning the menu thoroughly, including: Pizza offerings Appetizers Sandwiches and entrees Desserts Draft beer selections Wine offerings Signature cocktails Spirits and beverage program Educating guests on menu items and making recommendations based on preferences. Staying informed on seasonal features, limited-time items, and promotions. Service Standards Greet tables promptly and deliver attentive service throughout the meal. Monitor guest satisfaction and anticipate needs. Maintain beverage refills and table upkeep. Present dessert options and suggest additional items before closing checks. Process payments accurately and efficiently. Maintain urgency while providing excellent service. Teamwork & Support Duties Servers are expected to operate as a team and assist throughout the restaurant when needed.

Responsibilities include:

Running food whenever needed. Assisting in delivering hot food promptly. Bussing and resetting tables. Helping maintain clean dining areas. Assisting teammates during peak periods. Supporting front-of-house operations to ensure smooth guest experiences. Side Work & Cleanliness Maintain clean and organized workstations. Complete opening, running, and closing side work. Keep service stations stocked and organized. Assist with rolling silverware and stocking supplies. Help maintain dining room cleanliness including tables, chairs, floors, and guest-facing areas. Qualifications Previous serving experience preferred but not required. Strong hospitality mindset and positive attitude. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
