Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic bar and restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring each guest has a memorable dining experience. A strong background in food and beverage service, including wine and spirits knowledge, will be highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a vibrant setting. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash and credit card payments accurately Upsell menu items such as wines, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards Assist with food handling, sanitation, and maintaining cleanliness of tables and service areas Engage with guests to promote guest relations, handle inquiries, and resolve any concerns professionally Support other team members with bussing tables, setting up stations, or assisting in the kitchen as needed Maintain knowledge of menu offerings including wine pairings, spirits, and daily specials Qualifications Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures Ability to process cash transactions accurately and handle basic math calculations quickly Experience with wine knowledge, spirits, cocktail preparation, and upselling techniques Prior experience in roles such as host/hostess or cashiering can be beneficial Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads when necessary A positive attitude with a team-oriented approach to hospitality Join our team if you are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences in a lively dining environment.
