The Server Assistant is responsible for supporting the waitstaff and ensuring a positive dining experience for guests. This includes setting tables, refilling drinks, clearing plates, and assisting with any other needs that arise during service. This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent customer service skills, who enjoys working as part of a team and is eager to learn food service.

Job Responsibilities:

Welcoming guests, escorting them to their tables, and providing them with menus & water. Maintaining a friendly and positive attitude. Providing guests with table settings after the Server has taken order. Refill drinks as needed. Clearing dirty plates, utensils, and glassware from tables as required. Preparing tables for new guests by sanitizing table and sweeping nearby areas. Delivering food to tables when servers are busy. Responding to guest requests and informing management of any complaints. Arranging tables and chairs to accommodate larger groups. Ensuring that the server station is adequately stocked with necessary restaurant supplies. Assisting Bartender with restocking, dishes, etc. Assisting staff with cleaning tasks throughout the shift

Job Requirements:

The ability to work as part of a team. The ability to lift over 20 pounds The ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ability to stand for extended periods. Excellent organizational skills. Effective communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills. Previous food service experience is a plus, but not required.

Pay Range:

$16-$18 depending on experience.

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
