This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, stays organized in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable handling both dine-in and carryout orders. As a Server / Cashier at Bray's, you'll be part of the front-of-house team and may work as a server, cashier, or a combination of both depending on the shift and needs of the restaurant. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, welcoming service Take dine-in, carryout, and customer orders accurately Enter orders correctly into the POS system Handle cash, credit card, and other customer payments Serve food and beverages to dine-in customers Package and organize carryout orders Answer customer questions about menu items Check on customers and provide assistance throughout their visit Communicate with the kitchen to help ensure orders are accurate and timely Clean and reset tables Keep the counter, dining room, and service areas clean and organized Restock cups, condiments, utensils, beverages, and other supplies Assist with opening, shift-change, and closing duties Work with other team members to keep service moving during busy periods Follow food safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures What We're Looking For Friendly and positive attitude Dependable and punctual Strong customer-service skills Comfortable handling money and operating a POS system Able to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant Good communication and teamwork skills Willing to clean, restock, and help wherever needed Previous restaurant, serving, or cashier experience is preferred but not required We are willing to train the right person Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, is a plus Compensation Hourly pay + tips Servers and cashiers are eligible to receive tips.
