Duties Assist servers by delivering food from the kitchen to guest tables efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper presentation and temperature. Support the cleaning and sanitizing of dining areas, including clearing tables, bussing dishes, and maintaining overall cleanliness in compliance with food safety standards. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of food trays, supplies, and equipment following safe lifting practices to prevent injury. Manage food running duties by ensuring orders are correctly assembled and promptly delivered to guests, enhancing the overall guest experience. Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. Use POS (Point of Sale) systems like Toast POS to process guest orders accurately and efficiently while providing friendly in-person customer service. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow, address guest requests promptly, and uphold our commitment to excellent hospitality. Qualifications Previous food service experience or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with POS systems such as Toast and Micros POS is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members in person. Knowledge of food safety practices and basic food handling procedures to ensure guest safety and satisfaction. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safe lifting practices. Experience with cleaning, bussing tables, and supporting food preparation activities is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
