In this lively role, you'll be the friendly face that welcomes guests, takes their orders, and ensures they leave with a smile. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and ensuring sanitation standards are met Assist with food preparation or kitchen support when needed, demonstrating culinary knowledge and teamwork Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining quality service Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience with food industry tools such as serving trays, wine service, and basic math for check splitting Familiarity with upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences and increase revenue Embark on a rewarding career where your passion for hospitality makes a difference!
