Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits with professionalism, including wine knowledge and drink presentation. Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments accurately. Upsell menu items including drinks, desserts, or specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations. Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience. Assist with food handling, beverage service, and supporting the team during busy hours or special events like nightclub nights or fine dining services. Experience Previous food service experience in restaurants, cafes, or bars is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems Experience in fine dining enhances your ability to handle diverse guest needs. Knowledge of wine pairing, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service is desirable. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building. Basic math proficiency for processing payments accurately and managing tabs seamlessly.
