Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth and friendly check-in process. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality, including cocktail service, wine pouring, and spirits knowledge. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques. Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, including handling cash handling procedures and sales transaction processing. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction in both casual dining and fine dining settings. Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub experience preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cocktail experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of beverage service, spirits, wine, and food handling procedures aligned with food safety standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy hours. Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly attitude and strong guest relations abilities. Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in sales transactions processing. Basic math skills for bill calculation, change handling, and inventory management; knowledge of OpenTable reservations system is a plus. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift trays or boxes as needed, and maintain sanitation standards at all times.
