Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations using OpenTable or similar systems, and seat guests efficiently while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring precise processing of sales transactions. Provide expert guidance on wine pairings, spirits, and cocktail options, upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages with professionalism, including cocktail mixing, beverage service, and food handling in accordance with food safety standards. Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas promptly, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the restaurant. Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments swiftly, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity. Build strong guest relations through attentive service, addressing special requests or dietary needs with culinary experience and hospitality expertise to ensure satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience in fine dining service or upscale restaurant environments with a focus on guest relations and food presentation. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales processing. Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service standards. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Prior experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety protocols within the food industry. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive attitude. Demonstrated skills in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding liquor laws related to spirits experience.
