Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Busser, Food Runner, and Host, where you'll be the heartbeat of our restaurant's vibrant atmosphere! In this energetic role, you'll ensure seamless service by supporting our servers, greeting and seating guests with warmth and professionalism, and maintaining a clean, inviting dining environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable experiences for every guest who walks through our doors. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a lively, team-oriented setting. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations, and seat diners efficiently to minimize wait times Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and welcoming dining area Assist servers by bussing tables, delivering food orders quickly and accurately as a Food Runner Support food preparation and kitchen cleanliness by handling basic cleaning tasks and dishwashing duties Ensure food safety standards are met during food handling and service processes Take in-person customer orders accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS Provide exceptional guest service by answering questions, managing phone inquiries with professional etiquette, and addressing guest needs promptly Qualifications Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks involved in bussing and cleaning Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and POS operations Knowledge of food safety practices, dietary considerations, and proper food handling procedures Experience with restaurant technology such as OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus A genuine passion for hospitality, guest relations, and creating memorable dining experiences Join us to be part of a lively team that values energetic service, teamwork, and hospitality excellence! Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 36.0 per week
