Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them through the menu options with enthusiasm and clarity. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, process payments, and provide correct change. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Assist with food handling, sanitation, and basic food preparation when needed. Support other team members during busy hours, including hosting or bussing duties as required. Qualifications Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry. Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and bill splitting accurately. Experience with food handling, food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles is highly desirable. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
