Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service. Take accurate orders using the POS system SKYTAB, ensuring all special requests are noted and communicated clearly to the kitchen and bar staff. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation. Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend dishes or drinks through upselling techniques, and answer questions about ingredients or food preparation. Manage multiple tables with excellent time management skills to deliver prompt service without sacrificing quality. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all sales. Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure a seamless dining experience. Maintain a thorough understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety at all times. Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. Requirements Proven experience as a Server in a restaurant setting is helpful but not required Familiarity with POS systems is preferred; basic math skills are essential for accurate cash handling and check splitting. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively. Knowledge of food industry standards including sanitation, food safety, food preparation, and proper serving techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of restaurant operations such as bussing tables, food handling, and guest relations. Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning about food is essential.
