Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a strong background in hospitality. As a Banquet Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience during events and functions. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements and decor. Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner. Assist with the preparation of food items as needed, adhering to food safety standards. Buss tables promptly and efficiently to maintain cleanliness throughout the event. Provide exceptional guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns with professionalism. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow during events. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation. Ensure that all equipment and utensils are cleaned and stored properly after each event. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in banquet or catering settings is preferred. Culinary experience is a plus, with knowledge of food preparation techniques. Strong guest relations skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual responsibility. Familiarity with food safety practices and handling procedures. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Previous restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable.
