Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Lavu POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, and relay orders efficiently to the kitchen Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling all sales transactions with integrity Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, wine knowledge, or dietary needs with professionalism Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing orders and transactions Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and basic math for accurate bill calculations Ability to demonstrate culinary knowledge and food industry standards for safety and quality assurance Excellent communication skills along with a friendly attitude that fosters guest satisfaction Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding service in a vibrant setting!
