Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction Handle restaurant payment management using Toast. Assist servers by delivering food and beverages, refilling drinks, and ensuring guest needs are promptly met Maintain accurate waitlists and communicate wait times effectively via phone or in person with guests Support food safety standards by adhering to proper sanitation and handling procedures during service Answer incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, providing information about reservations or wait times Organize dining areas efficiently, ensuring tables are clean, set correctly, and ready for new guests Experience Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a customer-first attitude Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong communication skills to interact clearly with guests, team members, and management Demonstrated organizational skills to manage seating flow and coordinate with servers effectively Basic math skills for handling reservations, bills, and cash transactions accurately Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards to ensure guest well-being and satisfaction Join us in creating an inviting atmosphere where every guest feels valued!
