Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, offering personalized recommendations based on their preferences. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly. Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails and spirits, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with accuracy. Upsell menu items such as wines, spirits, or specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues swiftly. Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including inventory checks and POS reconciliation. Foster guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment for all patrons. Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in order-taking and serving. Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities. Culinary experience or food industry background preferred; understanding of food safety and sanitation standards essential. Strong communication skills paired with effective time management to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours.
