Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant food service team. In this role, you will be the friendly face that creates memorable dining experiences for our guests. Your enthusiasm for hospitality, combined with your excellent customer service skills, will help foster a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and cared for. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Manage tables by bussing, resetting, and ensuring cleanliness in accordance with sanitation standards Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Assist with food preparation, food safety compliance, and basic food handling procedures as needed Utilize reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements Maintain excellent guest relations by responding promptly to inquiries or concerns with professionalism and positivity Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong time management skills to ensure timely service during busy hours Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience with upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences and drive sales Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management Previous host/hostess or serving experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential Join our team as a Server and become part of an energetic environment where your passion for hospitality makes a difference!
