Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. In this role, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. You will also handle cash transactions and assist with various food preparation tasks as needed. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide excellent guest relations throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Toast POS system or similar technology. Serve food and drinks promptly Assist with food preparation tasks to maintain a smooth workflow during busy periods. Process cash and credit transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in math calculations. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables and customer needs simultaneously. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables and clearing dishes. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests. Utilize OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently. Experience Previous experience in food service or fine dining is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS system Excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during peak hours. A passion for culinary arts and guest satisfaction is highly valued.
