You will act as the crucial link between our kitchen, dining room, and takeout customers. This position is an excellent stepping stone to a serving position , offering hands-on training in menu knowledge, restaurant pacing, and guest service for those looking to grow their hospitality career. Compensation & Perks Base hourly wage plus tip outs from both servers and carryout orders. Clear pathway and mentorship for promotion to a Server role based on performance and reliability.
Core Responsibilities Deliver Food:
Carry trays and deliver meals from the kitchen line to the correct guest tables immediately.
Package Carryout Orders:
Accurately assemble, pack, and seal all takeout and delivery orders using proper containers.
Verify Orders:
Check plates and takeout bags against the ticket to ensure total accuracy, correct modifications, and proper presentation.
Double-Check Accompaniments:
Ensure all carryout orders include required utensils, napkins, condiments, and side sauces.
Support Service:
Help servers by refilling water, clearing empty plates (bussing), and resetting tables when needed.
Stock Stations:
Keep the kitchen expo line and takeout packaging stations clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Key Requirements & Skills Physical Stamina:
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds , carry large trays, and stay on your feet for an entire shift.
Speed and Accuracy:
High attention to detail to prevent missing items on both dine-in and takeout orders.
Growth Mindset:
Deep interest in learning the menu and restaurant operations to transition into a front-of-house serving role.
Communication:
Clear and respectful communication with chefs, servers, and curbside/takeout guests.
Schedule Flexibility:
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on restaurant needs.
