Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions smoothly. Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail service, wine knowledge, and beverage handling, while maintaining high standards of presentation. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Clear tables promptly and assist with bussing to keep the dining area clean and organized. Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently using POS systems. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; experience with fine dining or nightclub environments is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with an ability to connect with diverse guests and handle guest relations professionally. Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety, sanitation, and proper beverage service techniques. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions and handling cash accurately. Ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting while multitasking between serving, upselling, and guest interactions. Culinary experience or spirits knowledge is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
