Job Description
KPOT offers both worlds of Korean BBQ and Asian Hot Pot. What is Hotpot? Hotpot is an Asian cooking method, prepared with a simmering pot of soup stock at the dining table, containing a variety of East Asian foods and ingredients. Korean barbecue known locally as (고기구이) gogi-gui, "Meat Roast", refers to the Korean cuisine method of grilling meat such as beef, chicken or pork, that you prepare yourself at your table. Our menu offers an extensive selection of fresh quality meats, seafood, noodles, and vegetables for Hot Pot and BBQ experience. Overview Food Runners/Bussers are essential to keeping the dining area clean, organized, and running smoothly. This position supports the front-of-house team by maintaining table cleanliness, resetting tables quickly, and helping ensure an exceptional guest experience through teamwork and attention to detail. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely service. Assist servers in setting up tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Monitor food presentation and quality before serving to guests. Support the kitchen team with food preparation and handling as needed. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations at all times. Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or requests promptly. Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours per shift). Ability to lift and carry up to 25-50 pounds. Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in varying conditions, including heat, cold, and noise. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Skills Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
