Job Description
Job Summary Servers, known as Grill Guides , provide an interactive dining experience by guiding guests through Korean BBQ service. This includes taking orders, delivering food, managing table-side grills, and assisting in cooking meats to ensure quality and guest satisfaction. Service is supported by a Korean-style call bell system , requiring quick response times and strong awareness. Responsibilities- Guest Experience & Service Greet and seat guests with a welcoming, high-energy attitude Grill Guide Responsibilities (Core Role) Assist guests with grilling meats tableside when needed Cook or finish meats to proper doneness and presentation standards Educate guests on how to grill and eat Korean BBQ (sauces, wraps, pairings) Monitor grills for safety, heat control, and cleanliness Replace grill grates as needed Food & Beverage Service Take accurate food and drink orders using POS system Deliver food promptly and ensure accuracy Coordinate with kitchen runners and BOH for smooth service Refill drinks, banchan, and table items as needed Korean Bell Service Style Maintain awareness of assigned tables at all times Prioritize and respond immediately to call bells Anticipate guest needs to minimize repeated calls Communicate with team to ensure no table is missed Explain the Korean BBQ concept, menu, and how grill service works Guide guests through ordering (meat selections, sides, add-ons) Provide attentive, proactive service using the call bell system Respond quickly and efficiently when guests ring for assistance Preferred Qualities Outgoing and engaging personality Strong sense of urgency and awareness Confidence in guiding guest experience Interest in food, grilling, or Korean cuisine Reliability and professionalism Compensation & Benefits (customize this) Hourly + tips (pooled): $20-30/hr Employee meals / discounts Growth opportunities (Lead Server / Trainer roles)
