Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Spot On, ensuring clarity and precision. Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety. Manage multiple tables with effective time management skills to ensure timely service without sacrificing quality. Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally. Support other team members in restaurant operations during busy hours, including host/hostess duties when needed. Uphold food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices throughout all service interactions. Experience Previous restaurant experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing. Experience in food service roles including serving, bussing, or hosting contributes to a smooth workflow. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures is essential for maintaining hygiene compliance. Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is a plus for understanding food preparation processes. Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining excellent guest relations. OpenTable experience is advantageous for reservations management and guest seating flow.
