Job Description
Overview We are seeking passionate and skilled individuals to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for making malt, cones, sundaes and floats and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in food preparation and a flair for creativity, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Your contributions will help us maintain our reputation for quality and diamond service. Our location is on the shore of Lake Superior and the Duluth Lakewalk. Work with a view! Check out our website at portlandmaltshoppe.fun. Responsibilities Prepare and serve ice cream products with a smile. Operate and maintain ice cream machines and other equipment, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently. Utilize Square POS systems for processing transactions and managing sales.. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, adhering to health regulations. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Participate in inventory management, including stocking supplies and managing waste. Experience Previous experience in food service is preferred. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Background in customer service within quick service or fast food restaurants is beneficial. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is preferred
