Hoyt's Supper Club is seeking a friendly, dependable, and hardworking Restaurant Support Worker to assist with daily restaurant operations and help provide a welcoming experience for guests. This role supports food and beverage service, dining area maintenance, order assistance, restocking, cleanliness, and teamwork throughout the restaurant. Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional assistance. Assist restaurant staff with food and beverage service as needed. Help prepare, organize, and deliver customer orders accurately and promptly. Support servers and front-of-house team members during busy service periods. Clear, clean, and reset tables to maintain a neat dining environment. Maintain clean and organized dining areas, counters, service stations, and workspaces. Restock plates, utensils, napkins, condiments, beverages, and other restaurant supplies. Assist with basic food preparation, portioning, packaging, and service as directed. Answer routine guest questions and direct detailed requests to the appropriate team member. Communicate customer requests, supply needs, and service concerns to supervisors. Follow food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures. Handle food, beverages, dishes, equipment, and supplies carefully. Assist with dishwashing, cleaning, and general restaurant support duties as needed. Help maintain organized storage areas and service stations. Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and preparing the restaurant for service. Support coworkers to maintain efficient restaurant operations. Help ensure orders and service areas are properly prepared throughout each shift. Perform other restaurant support and customer service duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous restaurant, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Willingness to learn restaurant procedures and food service practices. Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety standards. Reliable, punctual, and responsible work habits. Comfortable standing, walking, lifting, and performing hands-on restaurant tasks.
