In this vital role, you will serve as the crucial link between the kitchen and the front of house, ensuring that orders are prepared, organized, and delivered promptly and accurately. Duties Receive freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen and verify order accuracy before delivery to guests Organize and expedite food orders to ensure timely service, maintaining quality standards Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate order timing and resolve any discrepancies Assist with food presentation, garnishing, and plating as needed to uphold restaurant standards Deliver food swiftly to tables while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service Support the front-of-house team by bussing tables and assisting with food handling or setup when required Maintain cleanliness and organization in the service area, adhering to food safety protocols Experience Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, but we are willing to train. Familiarity with food preparation, expediting, and food handling techniques is preferred but we will train you. Strong communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen staff and servers Experience using POS (Point of Sale) systems or similar technology is a plus Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices is a plus, but we will train you.
