• Osseo, MN Lynde's Restaurant & Catering is looking for a dependable, outgoing, and hardworking Catering & Event Team Member who also has availability to work select Front-of-House restaurant serving shifts .

This is a unique position because no two days are exactly the same. Lynde's operates both a restaurant and a full-service catering division, giving team members the opportunity to work a combination of catering, events, restaurant serving, and potentially bartending. A typical catering shift may involve preparing and loading a corporate lunch, driving it to a local business, setting up a disposable buffet, or setting up and maintaining a Celebration of Life/funeral catering. Other shifts may include working a wedding or upscale event, bartending, or serving breakfast and lunch in our restaurant. We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable working independently, and willing to jump in wherever needed. Pay Pay varies depending on the type of shift: Regular Catering

• $22.

00/hour Corporate catering, deliveries, funeral/Celebration of Life catering, disposable buffet setups, and similar catering shifts.

Upscale / Full

-Service Events

• $25.00/hour Weddings, formal events, and other full-service catered events. Catering Bartending
• $25.00/hour + tips Available to team members who are trained and qualified to bartend. Restaurant FOH Server
• Minimum wage + tips Typical server sales are approximately $700
• 2,000 per shift , depending on the day and business volume. Hours, sales, and tips vary based on restaurant volume and our catering/event schedule. Regular Catering

00/hour A large portion of our regular catering business consists of corporate catering and funeral/Celebration of Life events . Many of these events use disposable catering equipment and are designed for efficient delivery, setup, and service.

Responsibilities may include:

Reviewing catering orders and making sure everything is ready before leaving Gathering food, beverages, disposable products, and supplies Loading catering vehicles Driving company vehicles to corporate offices, funeral homes, event spaces, and other locations Delivering catering orders accurately and on time Setting up disposable buffet lines Setting up disposable chafers, sternos, serving utensils, plates, napkins, and other supplies Making sure food is presented neatly and professionally Setting up beverages and other catering items Providing friendly and professional customer service at delivery Maintaining buffets when scheduled to stay at an event Breaking down and cleaning up catering setups when required Loading and returning equipment and supplies Communicating with our catering team regarding deliveries, timing, and customer requests Some catering shifts will be delivery and setup only , while others may require staying to maintain the buffet or assist guests. Being able to work efficiently and independently is important. You may be responsible for taking a catering order from Lynde's to the customer and making sure the entire setup is completed correctly and professionally. Upscale & Full-Service Events

00/hour Lynde's also provides upscale and full-service catering for weddings, private events, banquets, and other special occasions. These events require a higher level of setup and guest service and may include: Wedding and event setup Formal buffet or plated meal service Setting guest tables and event spaces Working with real china, glassware, silverware, linens, and real chafers Maintaining buffets throughout an event Serving and assisting guests Clearing tables throughout service Following detailed event timelines Working closely with the Catering/Event Lead Event breakdown and cleanup Loading equipment and returning it to Lynde's Upscale and full-service event shifts pay $25.00/hour. Catering Bartending

• $25.

00/hour + Tips Team members who are qualified and trained to bartend may also have opportunities to work event bars.

Responsibilities may include:

Setting up and breaking down the bar Serving beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages Keeping the bar stocked and organized Providing friendly and efficient guest service Following responsible alcohol-service procedures Maintaining a clean bar throughout the event Working with the Catering/Event Lead Catering bartending pays $25.00/hour + tips. Bartending opportunities are based on qualifications, training, event needs, and availability. Restaurant FOH Serving This position will also have the opportunity to work breakfast and lunch Front-of-House serving shifts at Lynde's Restaurant.

Restaurant responsibilities include:

Greeting guests and providing friendly service Taking food and beverage orders Answering questions about our menu and daily specials Entering orders accurately Serving food and beverages Checking on guests throughout their meal Handling payments Pre-bussing and clearing tables Resetting tables Completing opening, closing, and side work Helping other FOH team members during busy periods

Restaurant Server Pay:

Minimum wage + tips. Typical server sales range from approximately $700

• 2,000 per shift , depending on restaurant volume.

Schedule & Availability Our catering schedule changes from week to week based on booked events, so flexibility is important for this position .

Shifts may include:

Weekday corporate catering Funeral/Celebration of Life catering Weekend restaurant serving Weddings and upscale events Morning, daytime, evening, and weekend shifts We are especially interested in someone who has weekend availability and is interested in working a combination of catering and restaurant FOH shifts. Driver's License Requirement A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required for this position. Driving is an important part of our catering operation. Team members may be responsible for: Driving company catering vehicles Delivering catering orders Transporting food and equipment Traveling between Lynde's and event locations Picking up catering equipment after events Applicants must be comfortable driving company vehicles. Your driving record does not need to be perfect , but it must meet our company and insurance requirements.
